Happy Thanksgiving to all our Friends and Family,
As we pack our bags to head out for Noon Tunes in Oklahoma City, a free show in Watonga, OK, a 2:45pm set Sat. Nov. 14th at Fischer Fest, and a house concert at our beloved Tom and Sue Rogers’ place in Wheelock, TX, we are grateful that we have the opportunity to make music, make friends and live the lives we love. Thank you for being a part of that! And if you check our calendar, you’ll find the particulars of all these shows.
Soon we’ll be launching our new CD Smoke and Redemption (we’ll have it on board for November shows) and the official release concert will take place at the Rio Grande Theatre in Las Cruces Dec. 19th at 7:30pm. To celebrate we’ve invited a very special guest to join us: singer, guitarist, drummer and songwriter King Ibu, originally from Senegal, now living in Las Vegas. We’re looking forward to sharing this uplifting musician with our NM friends, and joining in ourselves. Take a break from the hectic holidays and come on down for a night of original Americana, Bluegrass and World Music. We guarantee you’ll leave energized and bearing CD gifts!
The tip of the month can be found at this link; if music has this many benefits, live music has even more:
Ask us about Ellis and Pava Mandolins, GHS Strings, K and K pickups, Red-Eye preamps and Shubb capos. We use them and love them!
Please enjoy a wonderful Thanksgiving, and we’ll see you at the shows!
The Hard Road Trio,
Steve, Chris and Anne
