It’s a busy month with the Hard Road Trio, and we started off with a memorable (for all the right reasons) Desert Night Acoustic Music Camp! Thanks to everyone at the Black Range Lodge in Kingston, NM for being generous and gracious hosts. Thanks to all of you courageous and talented campers who came from close by and far away to make music and have fun. To Alan Munde, Tim May, Tom Adler and Ezra Bussmann: thank you from the Trio for making DNA Music Camp a class act!
More thanks are due to Marshall Vest and the Desert Bluegrass Association for promoting our afternoon workshop and house concert Oct. 17 in Tucson, AZ; see the calendar for more info. Thanks to Andy and Amy for hosting! We’re heading to the greater Las Vegas area for the Logandale Bluegrass Festival on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 19 and 20. Sunday, the 21st we have an appearance with special guests King Ibu and George Rhee at the Boulder City Library – expect some exciting jams and a happy reunion with these wonderful players and friends.
Friday, Oct. 26 we’re back home in Las Cruces for a house concert at the foot of the Organ Mountains. Please see the calendar below for more information.
The Trio continues to work on our next recording project with studio time coming up at The Cave with our own Steve Smith and at Swingfingers in Fort Collins with Aaron Youngberg. For now we can assure you “so far, so good”; we’ll keep you posted as the release approaches early next year.
Thanks for your continued support of live music! We love this community that has grown around acoustic music – your support makes all the difference.
