Greetings from Steve, Anne and Chris,
Thanks to all of you who came out to make Desert Night Acoustic Music Camp 2016 a great experience all around! Camp was full of some of the most wonderful folks we know, and we appreciate all your efforts to make it up to Kingston. Thanks to everyone at the Black Range Lodge for being great hosts, and to Tom Adler, Bill Evans, Ezra Bussmann and Bob Hull for joining us on faculty. We’ll be providing links to photos and videos of the event soon, and be sure and check our Facebook and website.
Please join us for the annual Empty Bowls Benefit on Oct. 21st at St. Paul’s Methodist in Las Cruces. Take home a bowl made by members of the Las Cruces Potters Guild, have some yummy soup donated by area restaurants, see your friends and listen to our tunes. Proceeds benefit El Caldito Soup Kitchen.
We’re so happy to announce that King Ibu will be returning to our area in November! He’ll be appearing with us in El Paso at Star City Studio on Saturday evening, Nov. 5th. Star City Studio is new on the scene: recording studio, art gallery featuring the work of Pat Olchefski, and state of the art performance space. Come check it out and welcome the King back to town!
Sunday afternoon, Nov. 6 King Ibu will be with us at the Center for Spiritual Living in the Heart of Las Cruces located conveniently on the north end of the Downtown Mall. Thanks to the gracious folks there, this has been the scene of many wonderful music events.
This fall Steve will be accepting private and Skype lessons for mandolin and guitar. Tunes, technique and theory can be explored. For rates and times contact Steve firstname.lastname@example.org.
And many thanks to you for your support of the Trio and live music!
Ask us about Ellis and Pava mandolins, Old Wave octave mandos, GHS strings, K and K pickups, Red-Eye preamps, Shubb Capos, and Calton Cases. We use em’ and love em’.
